Antimic, was developed in the laboratories of Sabancı University, by Prof. Dr.Yusuf Menceloğlu after approximately 5 years of work.
Antimic physically destroys bacteria, viruses and disease-causing microorganisms; prevents the growth of mold, fungus and algae; prevents cross contamination; is a new generation nano-technological antimicrobial protective material that provides long-lasting effects.
Antimic®️ is a antimicrobial preservative agent that is more powerful compared to other disinfectants. When applied Antimic®️, forms colorless, odorless nano-sized shields on the surface. These shields prevent microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, algae, and fungi from adhering to the surface and stops the reproduction of microorganisms since it maintains its effectiveness for a long time.
Antimic®️ consists of organic molecules and doesn’t have metals that cause deposits. These molecules interlock with each other by covalent bonds on the applied surfaces and form a permanent layer that remains active for a long time.
When conventional disinfectants are applied on a surface, the surface becomes susceptible to microorganism contamination 4 hours after application. Unlike these disinfectants, Antimic®️, both kills the microorganisms on the applied surface; and provides long-term protection thanks to the layer it forms on the surface.
